As the name suggests, Marathon M5 Lite is toned down version of the original M5. M5 Lite smartphone has a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 skinned with Amigo OS 3.0.
The smartphone is powered by Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor and 1GB RAM, and offers 16GB of internal storage. Gionee Marathon M5 Lite packs 4,000mAh battery and sports 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and microUSB 2.0. So far the company has not revealed details about the phone's pricing and availability.
